Reflecting on 2024: A Year of Growth and Milestones at The Laser Base
As the new year begins, we’re taking a moment to reflect on what has been an incredible journey for The Laser Base in 2024. This year has been filled with challenges, triumphs, and plenty of exciting changes as we’ve continued to grow as a business and a team. Let’s take a look back month by month at how far we’ve come:
A New Chapter Begins
We started 2024 with a bang, breaking ground on renovations for our new mega clinic. We shown our colleagues and staff the new space. We had our plans finalised and then it was all hands on deck as we worked full-time at our existing clinic during the day and spent our evenings and weekends transforming our new space into a state-of-the-art clinic. The energy was high as we began this exciting new chapter. This was all kept under wraps until we were ready to announce, which was HARD!
Partnerships in Progress
Construction was in full swing as we continued shaping our dream clinic. This month, we announced our exciting partnership with Elegance Aesthetics and Skincare to create this space, a venture that would bring even more value to our clients. We value each and every one of our clients and wanted to give you all a luxurious space to get the most out of your treatments with us. Building works were full speed ahead!
Growth and New Beginnings
With the building work nearing completion, our focus shifted to decoration and painting—adding those finishing touches that would make the clinic uniquely ours. We quietly welcomed our third team member, preparing for their upcoming debut. Meanwhile, Charlene shared her wonderful news of expecting a baby and preparing for her maternity leave.
Finishing Touches
April was a whirlwind as we finalised every detail to ensure the clinic was perfect for our May opening. Seeing the signs go up outside the building was a surreal moment—our dream was becoming a reality. We started to get more recognition in the surrounding areas now our businesses were on display on one of the busiest roads in the area.
Grand Opening
The moment we’d been waiting for finally arrived! After countless 12-hour days, we completed the clinic, moved in our furniture, and officially opened our doors. Our newest team member, Charlotte, joined us, bringing her 10+ years expertise and enthusiasm to the team. Charlene went on maternity leave, and we celebrated this milestone with photoshoots and exciting updates to mark the beginning of this new era.
Lights, Camera, Action
We kicked off the summer with a full clinic photoshoot, capturing stunning content to display on our in-clinic screens. This was an opportunity to showcase the wide range of treatments we now offer in our beautiful new space. With a whopping 26 staff in the clinic this was needed!
APP LAUNCH!
This month marked the launch of our brand-new app, designed to make booking treatments even easier for our clients. We also welcomed Ashley, our new business manager, whose strategic skills and leadership quickly became invaluable.
Behind-the-Scenes Magic
With Ashley’s expertise, we held group meetings and began making big plans for the future. While much of the work happening was behind the scenes, the foundations were being laid for some exciting announcements.
Seasonal Transformations
As the clinic embraced the spooky season with festive decorations, we also prepared for a major announcement set for October. The buzz of anticipation filled the air, we couldn’t wait to share this news for the 3rd time this year!
Exciting Announcements
October brought more team growth as we welcomed Grace to The Laser Base family. Grace’s passion and expertise have already made her an amazing addition, she brings a professional and friendly demeanour and our clients already love her. We also launched our new Treat Card system, a loyalty program designed to reward our incredible clients. A photoshoot for Grace and the Treat Cards capped off an action-packed month.
Black Friday and Holiday Prep
November was all about BIG deals and festive preparations. We launched our branded aloe vera and coffee scrubs as part of our Christmas box offerings, which quickly became a hit. Our Black Friday deals brought in a flurry of new clients, making it one of our busiest months to date.
Holiday Cheer
We ended the year on a high note with the launch of our Christmas giveaway in collaboration with Elegance, offering £1000 worth of treatments to one lucky winner. The clinic was alive with festive cheer, including a mischievous visit from the Grinch! We also started gearing up for Cervical Cancer Awareness Month in January. Every client left their appointment with a gift bag, and one lucky customer found a golden ticket for a special prize. We also hit our 10k followers on instagram goal! 🥳
